Frame

Frame, a site-specific sound installation, consists of a floor standing sculpture resembling one corner of a picture frame. The sculpture emanates various pre-recorded sound compositions, ranging from literal recordings, to the abstract and sometimes musical, and have a visual and spatial quality.

The paintings in the 'Frame Works' exhibition at Falmouth Art Gallery, together with their frames, and how they have been curated, were reference points for the creation of this installation, with the intention for it to be a subtle yet pervasive addition.
